Privacy Policy

Effective September 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ABC Legal Tech, Inc. ("ABC Legal Tech," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information through Eviction Management, available at evictionmanagement.net (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Service.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, mobile phone number, business or firm name, role, and, for attorneys, state bar number.
  • Case and notice information: information you enter or upload to manage eviction matters, such as property addresses, the names and contact details of tenants and other parties, notice dates, court information, and documents.
  • Sign-in and security information: sign-in dates and times, session activity, security settings such as two-factor authentication, and records of access to case information.
  • IP address and approximate location: when you visit the Service or sign in, we record your IP address and the approximate location (city, state or region, and country) associated with it, along with your browser type, the page you first requested, and the referring site. The location is estimated from your IP address using GeoLite2 data from MaxMind and is not precise; we do not collect your device's GPS location. We record this for all visitors, whether or not they are signed in, including visitors we turn away.
  • Google sign-in information: if you choose "Continue with Google," we receive your name, email address, and a Google account identifier from Google. We do not receive your Google password.
  • SMS information: your mobile number, your consent to receive text messages (opt-in), and records of verification messages sent to you.
  • Cookies: essential cookies that keep you signed in, remember your email address or a trusted browser, and protect forms against misuse. We do not use advertising cookies.

How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including preparing and tracking notices and cases.
  • To create and secure your account, verify your identity, and send sign-in and verification codes by email or text message.
  • To send service-related communications, such as account confirmations and sign-in links.
  • To monitor, audit, and protect the security and integrity of the Service and to prevent fraud or misuse, including reviewing where sign-ins come from.
  • To limit access to the Service to visitors in the United States. We use your IP address to estimate your country and refuse connections from outside the US.
  • To understand how the Service is used, such as how many visitors we have and where they are located.
  • To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

SMS / text messaging

If you provide your mobile number and opt in, ABC Legal Tech, Inc. sends text messages containing one-time sign-in and verification codes for your Eviction Management account. You opt in when you choose to sign in with your phone number or turn on text message verification in your account settings. Message frequency varies based on how often you sign in. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See the SMS Terms in our Terms of Service.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers (such as our SMS delivery provider, Twilio) that deliver messages on our behalf.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only:

  • With service providers that help us run the Service, such as cloud hosting and storage (Microsoft Azure), email delivery, SMS delivery (Twilio), sign-in with Google, and address lookup (Google Maps). They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Within your matters, with the landlords, attorneys, paralegals, and other authorized users you work with on the Service, and as needed to prepare and serve legal notices and filings.
  • For legal reasons, when required by law, court order, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ABC Legal Tech, Inc., our users, or others.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.

Data security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls, account lockout after repeated failed sign-ins, and optional two-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, meet legal, accounting, and record-keeping requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Your choices

  • You can review and update your account information in your account settings.
  • You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by turning off text message verification in your account settings.
  • You can request access to or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Children's privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date above.
